Pixi Glow Tonic Review: Transform Your Skin

Pixi glow tonic

Pixi Glow Tonic has taken the world by storm. Everyone is raving about it. I waited for a while until I bought a bottle of this (after all it's £18).

I have used the tonic regularly on my face for about 3 weeks, and I'm ready to give you a honest review!

Is Pixi Glow Tonic as good as everyone makes it seem? Does it transform your skin? And most importantly - does it make your skin glow like a radiant beam of sunshine?

Product information

"Exfoliating facial Glow Tonic™. It helps tone, firm and tighten the skin. It removes dead skin cells for healthier looking skin. For all skin types. Alcohol free".

The ingredients and their benefits

Let's focus on the ingredients of Pixi Glow Tonic:

Water/Aqua/Eau, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Glycolic Acid, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Sodium Hydroxide, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Leaf Extract, Aesculus Hippocastanum (Horse Chestnut) Seed Extract, Hexylene Glycol, Fructose, Glucose, Sucrose, Urea, Dextrin, Alanine, Glutamic Acid, Aspartic Acid, Hexyl Nicotinate, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Ethylhexylglycerin, Disodium EDTA, Biotin, Panthenol, PPG-26-Buteth-26, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance (Parfum), Caramel, Red 4 (CI 14700)

The main ingredient of this product is glycolic acid. It's a well-known ingredient when it comes to skin exfoliation. Exfoliated skin = glowy skin!

There is also witch hazel, which helps to shrink pores and minimizes bacteria. What a perfect combination so far!

In addition to this, there are skin soothing ingredients - horse chestnut is one of them. Pixi has really thought about their ingredients in this cult product!

The packaging

Pixi Glow Tonic comes in a 250ml bottle. The packaging seems sleek and modern looking. Furthermore, it's super easy to apply to a cotton pad without wasting a load of product!

The fragrance

The product has a strange smell, I can't describe what it is but if you ever have the chance to smell it, you will know what I mean. The smell is not strong at all, therefore it doesn't bother me. To be honest, the scent is quite pleasant and refreshing.

Does it work?

I did not expect much from Pixi Glow Tonic, I thought that it was an over-hyped product. Well, luckily I was wrong! I am actually addicted to how this product makes me skin feel!

Despite the acids in the product, it doesn't irritate my skin at all. It's fantastic at exfoliating dead skin away, this leaves my skin so soft!

I find that adding this to my skincare routine has prevented acne! I used to get horrible acne on my cheeks and chin, and now I rarely do. The product is also great at reducing acne scarring.

I would call this little product, a spa facial in a bottle. If you are used to scrubbing your face away with exfoliants, this product will change your skin game!

I also suffered from under-eye milia (trapped keratin under the skin) for about two years. I tried hot compresses, other exfoliants, basically the whole artillery of skincare products.

Pixi Glow Tonic was the only product that worked for me! I applied it with a cotton bud directly on the milia, two days later the milia were gone!

It literally saved me so much money because I wanted to see a dermatologist to get the milia removed professionally.

Final verdict

Pixi Glow Tonic is definitely worth its cult status. It transforms the skin for the better! I highly recommend this product to everyone. Step up your exfoliation game and add this little gem to your skincare routine!

  5. I've heard so many amazing things about this product but sadly my face reacts really badly to the strength of glycolic so I didn't get on with this one. I use the Ren Ready Steady Glow which is really similar but uses lactic acid instead! Really thorough review! I get milia too so it was interesting to know that it cleared that up for you x

    1. Thank you :) I shall have a look at REN product, haven't tried anything from them. I heard they are supposed to be really good!

  6. Oh I've been debating whether to buy this for years now! My skin is a bit all over the place atm, ever since Christmas my acne has been getting worse. It's great to hear that this didn't irritate your skin! Thanks for sharing ✨

    1. Thank you so much xx Thanks for reading :)

  8. Great review! I've been thinking about buying this tonic for a while but also thought it was over-hyped. However, after reading this post I think I'll try it! Pixi products are usually a bit out of my price range, but I use their mascara and it's fab - sometimes I think it's worth spending the extra money for a product that will last! Thanks for sharing x
